How To Use My Motivators

When you run a company or an Agile Team that has a specific goal to reach, it is really important to know your teammates better. Knowing your teammates better affects your journey / project. It is better to know your teammates’ motivators, and let them know about yours.

Now, what are these “Motivators”? Motivators are those which help you keep your works in pace. Such as-

  • Curiosity: I have plenty of things to investigate and to think about

  • Honor: I feel proud that my personal values are reflected in how I work.

  • Acceptance: The people around me approve of what I do and who I am.

  • Mastery: My work challenges my competence but it is still within my abilities.

  • Power: There’s enough room for me to influence what happens around me.

  • Freedom: I am independent of others with my work and my responsibilities.

  • Relatedness: I have good social contacts with the people in my work.

  • Order: There are enough rules and policies for a stable environment.

  • Goal: My purpose in life is reflected in the work that I do.

  • Status: My position is good, and recognized by the people who work with me.

Different motivators work differently on different people- from most important to least important. To create a traditional Motivator line you generally use Flipchart sheets, Sticky notes, Markers and pens, Masking tape for sticking up the result and valuable time of yours. Quite a sweaty job just to keep a record! isn’t it?

Agilibo (brand new product of Archibo: developed to served your needs) offers moving motivators in a complete digitized way. The hassle of keeping paper cards, markers, pens etc. are over. Moving motivator can be played in Journey Line.

Here’s how you should use My Motivators in Agilibo

  • Step 01: Go to and log into your account

  • Step 02: Open “Agile Activities”

  • Step 03: Click on “My Motivators”, a new tab will appear

Step 04: If you are registered to journey line, just log in with your email and password. If you are not registered, input your company name and ID, Unit Name and ID, and Team name to log in.

  • Step 05: You’ll see a graphic axis for the moving motivators. From left to right, insert the most to least effective motivators. You can use one motivator at a time. The higher each motivator goes, the more positive it becomes. Just like that, the lower each motivator goes, the more negative it becomes. Give your motivator a title.

For example, I have been promoted and given a personal office room. Now, my primary motivators are chronologically “Goal, Honor, Power, Freedom, Relatedness and Acceptance”. In short, these motivators help me stay focused on my work. Let’s see what happens when I’m moved to my new room.

  1. My goals stay the same

  2. My honor, along with my power increases because of the promotion

  3. I have a personal room, so I have more freedom

  4. Due to being disconnected from my colleagues, my ‘Relatedness’ decreases

  5. Acceptance decreases as roles have possibly changed within the group, with my acceptance of a promotion

  • Step 6: You can go to the settings option and add, remove, break order of moving motivators as much as you like. You can reset back to default anytime.

  • Step 7: If you’re a registered user, you can see your teammates’ Motivators as well. Just click on “Team members motivators list” and watch your teammates’ motivators anytime, anywhere. This are how other team members’ motivators would look like:

Following these instructions, you would easily be able to use Agilibo’s My Motivator.
